Withdrawal of Manuscript

JASSR discourages withdrawing manuscripts after submission or publication except for compelling reasons (e.g., fundamental errors, ethical issues, or legal concerns). Withdrawal wastes the significant time and effort invested by editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Authors who nonetheless wish to withdraw must submit an Article Withdrawal Request Form stating the reason. The form must be signed by all authors, or at minimum by the corresponding author on behalf of all co-authors. A manuscript is not considered withdrawn until the editorial office issues written confirmation. Please contact the editorial office (see Contact) to obtain the form and instructions.

Withdrawing because the manuscript has been accepted elsewhere is unethical. Authors must avoid simultaneous or duplicate submissions and should not request withdrawal for the purpose of publishing the same work in another journal.
